The titanic plesiosaur faces off against the winged pterosaur in a battle to the death while a geologist and his girlfriend fight for survival in this 1977 Japanese sci-fi spectacular, infamously featured on “Mystery Science Theater 3000.” The high-budget entry from Toei Studios, an outfit not generally known for its monsters, still packs a satisfyingly campy punch.
